Hello everyone,
My conservatory has several sliding glass doors that don’t have built-in locks.
Now I would like to retrofit locks without drilling extensively into the glass. During my research, I came across clamp locks.
Unfortunately, I have absolutely no experience with these, and the descriptions found on manufacturers’ websites are not very clear on how they actually work.
It’s understood that two sides clamp onto the glass.
My question is how do you ensure that they actually hold securely, and of course, the installation shouldn’t cause the glass to break. Glass breakage is my biggest concern in this context.
Maybe someone has experience with this and can share some insights.
Thank you very much.
Best regards, Jimmyone
