Hello everyone,
I am planning to buy a longer car, and now my carport is a bit too short. To be precise, the length of the vehicle exactly matches the length of the carport.
The question is how I might extend the carport if needed. I have already considered something like a porch roof. However, those are usually not wide enough.
Does anyone have any ideas or tips?
I don’t want to move or add any posts.
Thank you very much in advance!

Extending the carport would, depending on the existing construction, be a visual drawback.
Additionally, there are planning permission/building permit concerns due to the increased roof area (structural integrity, drainage, etc.).
