Hello everyone,

we are planning to install a security alarm system and also video surveillance in our new build.

Which providers and cameras would you recommend? Day and night recording should be possible.

Best regards

Yes, I already mentioned that it all depends on the budget and can cost a little or a lot...

Our intelligence services use, for example, Geutebrück for surveillance. Dallmayr is also a professional manufacturer.

Hello,

I am currently in discussions with a company called b-Alarm.
I am interested to know if anyone has experience with the alarm system Jablotron 100 that they offer.
Besides the alarm function, the system apparently can handle a lot related to building automation. Lighting control via smartphone or controlling the blinds (raising them) in case of a break-in attempt are possible features. Integration with smoke detectors or video surveillance, among other things, also seems to be supported. However, it is quite expensive, and I cannot decide without recommendations.

It would be great if someone could share their experience or knows of a system offering similar functionalities.

Regards,
paulino

Hi, I’m aware that this thread is a bit outdated, but I’m currently looking for a good video surveillance system and an alarm system. I’m from Bonn, and within a radius of up to 50 km (30 miles), I came across the company Sirenko Security Technology. I requested a quote from them, and they also offered the Jablotron alarm system. However, I wanted a certified alarm system, specifically one with VdS approval. The alarm systems from Jablotron are really good, but unfortunately, they do not have that kind of certification. Therefore, I had to choose between two other options. The choices are the Telenot alarm system and the Daitem alarm system. In most comparisons, these two are equally good, and video surveillance can also be integrated. That’s why I’m asking if anyone here has tested these brands? The following models were offered to me: Telenot Komplex 200H or Telenot Compact Easy 200H, and from Daitem the Daitem D16 or Daitem D22. If anyone is familiar with these, I would appreciate your opinion, as I also want to apply for the KfW subsidy, which can provide up to €1500 (approx. $1600) in support, and this application must be submitted one month before installation with the full documentation. So, I’m a bit pressed for time. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hikvision dome cameras imported directly from China. Great cameras for under €100 (about $110).
The Wi-Fi versions do not clear customs, so choose the LAN models. They can be powered via PoE, so you just need to run CAT7 cable instead of 230V (115V) power.
