I had expected a bit more depth (even from RTL 😉 ).
It started well, with the real estate agent tearing apart the dream house. Then came an end-of-the-world scenario (= signing at the notary)...
During the renovation, I missed any mention of costs (similar to the "bargain houses"). As if the whole budget had covered everything, including kitchen, furniture, and grill! I find it disappointing that so much was only cosmetically improved.
Nothing was done in terms of energy efficiency, right? So they will keep frying under the roof... and the aspiring self-employed person with a second child wish will share their office with child number two, fitness equipment, and wardrobe...
The show does not deserve the subtitle documentary... Were there any fellow sufferers watching? Or prospective homebuilders saying: "Great, such a nice house for that budget!"?
