Hello everyone,

we are currently planning to build a house and have the following insulation values:

Roof = 24 cm (9.4 inches) with thermal conductivity 0.035 W/(m·K)

External walls = 18 cm (7.1 inches) with thermal conductivity 0.035 W/(m·K)

Window glazing = U-value 0.7 W/m²K

Window frame = U-value 1.3 W/m²K

Can anyone tell me if these are good or poor values? 😕

Thanks!

Cheers,

xiaoma

Hello,

sorry, but are you looking to buy "insulation values" or to purchase/build a single-family house constructed according to current standards?

The values you mentioned are part of a complex building specification – how is someone supposed to give you reliable information based on these fragmented details?

Kind regards

Hi,

thanks for the tip. You can probably tell that I am a complete beginner in this area.

It is a terraced house with a flat roof. What kind of information would be useful to determine whether this house is well insulated or not?

Thank you very much for your response and patience!

Have a nice Sunday!
