Hello everyone,
I’ve noticed that recently many insects, especially wasps, have been flying around my roller shutter box. It seems they are looking for a place to nest.
I took a closer look and saw that the brush seal (I believe that's the correct term for this strip) is installed about 2.5cm (1 inch) away from the shutter curtain.
It would be better if the brush slightly touched the curtain. This would largely prevent insects from flying into the roller shutter box.
However, the strip with the brush appears to be too short at the front. If it were 2.5cm (1 inch) longer, the brush would brush against the shutter curtain.
Can someone please tell me if there is any guideline or regulation that states the brush seal must rest against the shutter curtain?
My roller shutter system is less than two years old!
Thank you very much for your help!

For example: seal not functioning, door squeaks, outlet does not supply power, living room does not heat up. You do not need to assess the causes. It is best not to name or suggest any remedial actions initially.
