Hi,

We have the problem that we need to lower the shower tray because otherwise, it’s not possible to stand properly under the sloped ceiling. The issue is that the drain pipe is almost 10 cm (4 inches) above the floor. I have read about lifting stations (lifting units). However, these are all much too oversized, as they pump the water several meters upward.

Now the question is: are there smaller lifting units available that only need to overcome a few centimeters?

Thank you very much for your help!

Just enter the words "shower lifting station" into Google and click on the first images. There you will basically find exactly what you are looking for.

Traymatic might be an option.

But I hardly think you can avoid using a lifting station. Unless you break up the entire floor or you can go through the ceiling into the room below to reroute the drain.

In my opinion, that would be the best solution, as it makes you independent of mechanical systems.
