We moved into our newly built house just under a month ago. Our ventilation system is the Zehnder ComfoAir. The air coming from the ventilation outlets still smells like plastic. Does anyone else experience this? What could be the cause?

The tip for us was to flush it out. We only did it for 2-3 minutes, and that already helped. During maintenance, these units are flushed for 10-15 minutes. Whether it’s Zehnder Tecalor or any other brand, the heat exchangers are from the same manufacturer anyway, or even the exact same heat exchanger.
