Hello,

I am really impressed with this item. It’s quite crazy in my opinion, but okay. According to our kitchen salesperson, this extractor hood is a "man's thing."

Who owns the Berbel Skyline, who can share their experience, and who can tell me exactly how much they paid for it? As briefly mentioned by the article number, this is the Skyline model with lighting and lift function.

Cheers and thanks for your replies.

At first, we also had a range hood suspended by cables. However, we decided against it for two reasons.

1. When you press the buttons, the hood swings around quite a bit. If it comes with a remote control — that’s the last thing I want lying around in the kitchen. It will just end up flying around and then has to be found again.

2. You don’t only have the four suspension wires, which is still okay. But there is also a cable running along, which looked too untidy for us.

About that type of hood:
I’m also a fan of gadgets, but too many features tend to mean more parts that can break.

Okay, which model did you install? And how long ago was that? I tried it myself in the kitchen showroom, and there was no wobbling when starting it up...

Yes, if you turn it on gently, there is little or no vibration. This was in the kitchen showroom, not sure which model exactly, but it was all models that were only wall-mounted. If you switch it on quickly, it vibrates. That was earlier this year, maybe that helps.

You don’t just turn it on once. There’s on/off, setting the extraction level, and possibly the light. If it still doesn’t vibrate for you, then you can cross that off your list of complaints.
