It should be stable enough to lie on, but I wouldn’t trust it not to break if you jump on it. I wouldn’t recommend having a party with 5 people on it 😉
It might creak, but I’m not sure. The best option is to try it out yourself at Ikea and lie on it. On the other hand, if you don’t really like it, you haven’t wasted much money, so it’s worth giving it a try.
