I am planning to install a gas condensing boiler in a two-family house. The new heating system is intended to replace the approximately 19 existing electric storage heaters used at night.

There is the complex option of embedding the necessary pipes within the screed. However, this would require the entire floor to be opened up, which partly consists of marble and solid wood parquet. The heating engineer offered to install the pipes using a special baseboard solution instead. Now my question is:

Who has experience with this? Could you share pictures of how it looks? Do you know of any quality manufacturers of such baseboards? I look forward to reading about your experiences.

Hello

In the trade, it is called an "HZ - profile."
It offers various solutions for different cable or pipe routing needs
and is available in several finishes.
When installed correctly, it almost looks like new construction, but the walls should not
be too uneven.
