Hello everyone, I am currently planning to purchase and assemble Ikea Metod kitchen cabinets and would like to ask in this forum about common mistakes that often occur during assembly and how to avoid them. I am particularly interested in challenges related to attaching the drawer slides, correctly aligning the cabinets, and installing the panels, as I have heard these areas frequently cause issues. Are there any specific tips or methods from your own experience that you would recommend to prevent time-consuming errors or damage during assembly? Thanks in advance for your support!

That’s my best advice! And: patience, patience, patience. Even if you try eight times to get it in, go ahead and try again calmly instead of pushing hard.
And if the base cabinet is a bit tight, it’s better to spend two extra minutes and re-check with a spirit level. It takes some time, but later you can enjoy your Netflix night much more relaxed without doors sticking and causing frustration 😉
So: stay calm and take it step by step. It will definitely work out! Good luck, and please share how it went.
