We built the house and live on the ground floor ourselves. There is a separate apartment on the upper floor, but the resident is rarely there. The other half of the upper floor is a multipurpose room. Among other things, the inverter and the battery storage for our photovoltaic system are located there. There is a standard smoke detector in this room, which should beep in case of danger. However, this doesn’t help much since no one is likely to hear it. What options are there to install a smoke detector there that, ideally, sends an alert to a mobile phone in case of danger, so action can still be taken when no one is at home?

Try searching for x-sense or smoke detector mobile app,
that might help you.

...what kind of sound insulation do you have?
When we test the alarms here once a year, they can be heard throughout the entire house and across the property. It’s impossible to miss them.

They are available from all major manufacturers. Wireless interconnected detectors—all operate in the same way. Alternatively, combined with a gateway for alerts sent directly to your smartphone.
