Is it normal for a new heating system (two-family house, 200-liter (53-gallon) boiler) to release 4 liters (1 gallon) of water per day during domestic hot water heating? I’m referring to the boiler’s pressure relief discharge. Some water discharge is understandable, but this amount seems quite high. Since the pressure relief pipe is positioned slightly lower than the drain, I’m not sure where to direct the water... Installing a pumping station would probably be excessive. However, I can’t think of any other solution. I would greatly appreciate your help.
