Hello everyone,

Currently, Viessmann is experiencing supply chain delays for heat pumps, with a lead time of 7 months from today's order date.
The planned installation was a "Vitocal 200-S AWB-E-AC 201.D09."

According to the heating engineer, there is no real alternative to this unit, as it is the only split heat pump eligible for subsidies from BAFA.
However, in BAFA's "List of eligible systems," I also found other similar units (e.g., Vaillant Arotherm Split). Could this be a possible alternative?

Thank you and best regards!

Hello Markus!

Unfortunately, I can’t provide any information about delivery times, but the statement about there being no alternatives is definitely incorrect.

There are certainly other models available, but we installed the subsidized Vaillant aroTHERM plus VWL 75/6 that you mentioned. The subsidy approval went through without any issues.

By the way, in the case of Vaillant, I can recommend their "subsidy service." It costs a small fee, and they guarantee the subsidy amount... You might want to look it up online.

Good luck!

We are getting the Vitocal 222-S, funded by Bafa.
