I would like to buy my entire plumbing system online because I can get a discount of about 40% compared to buying it from the installer. However, a friend warned me that many installers refuse to install materials purchased elsewhere, suggesting they do this to push online competitors out of the market.
I find that hard to believe since I pay the installer regularly for their work, so they still make a profit. On the other hand, I want to be cautious. It doesn’t help to have cheap materials if I can’t find a professional to install them.
What do you think? Should I really expect problems if I buy my materials cheaply online?

All three companies are tied to a sanitary wholesale supplier. Here, I can only review the complete quotes and then make a decision.
