Hello everyone,
I recently bought a Billy bookshelf from IKEA and immediately noticed that the doors don’t close properly. I observed that the doors are somewhat crooked or don’t sit perfectly flush against the frame. Since I don’t want to return the bookshelf or undertake major modifications, I wanted to ask how to best adjust the Billy bookshelf doors with simple methods. Is there an easy way to adjust the doors without special tools or extensive disassembly so that they close perfectly and are properly aligned?
I would appreciate tips, especially from people who have done this themselves. Advice on what to pay special attention to would also be very helpful. Thanks in advance!

I also recommend regularly tightening all screws on the cabinet frame and hinges slightly. This often helps prevent closing issues.
