Austin_Power11 Sep 2023 13:31Hello experts,
I want to replace an old radiator in our house and I'm wondering if I can connect it to the pipes shown in the pictures using appropriate adapters. The plan is to install a standard replacement radiator. According to my research, there are special black pipe adapters available that can be screwed onto the threads for new connections.
Is there anything to consider regarding the adapter materials (e.g., galvanic corrosion between different metals)? How would you recommend making the connection? Unfortunately, the supply and return pipes are not parallel, so I cannot shorten the supply pipe to install a two-pipe valve block. Still, I would prefer to use a single valve block if possible. Do you have any advice for me?
Best regards,
Torsten
