In 2008, the average household spent 17 percent more on heating compared to the previous year. This information comes from the new nationwide Heating Report 2009, published by the non-profit organization co2online GmbH in cooperation with the German Tenants’ Association (DMB) on October 1st. To compile the report, co2online analyzed data from 52,000 buildings across the country. The Federal Ministry for the Environment supports the Heating Report campaign as part of its climate protection initiative.

I only heard this on the radio yesterday. The trend will probably intensify in the coming years as crude oil becomes extremely expensive again!

Hello

I find the compiled causes by the Gesamtverband Steinkohle e.V. interesting
(the information has been supplemented accordingly)

Viewed in this way, we are somewhat lucky in misfortune due to the crisis,
otherwise it could even have doubled.

Best regards

There is likely to be a significant decrease in 2009, as the costs for heating oil and natural gas have dropped. However, this statement does not fit the perspective of tenant associations or that of energy-saving advocates. The long-term trend of rising energy costs is certain, but simply extrapolating is not appropriate.
