I want to buy a house. I asked the real estate agent whether the heating system is a single-pipe or two-pipe system.

He said he had never heard of that before. When I asked how long he had been a real estate agent, he said 20 years.

Is my question really that unusual?

I have 18 years of experience in the field, but I’m not sure about this, and my partner, who is trained both as a business economist and a heating installer, can’t make sense of it either.
