ᐅ Waiving Feed-in Tariffs: Is It Always Feasible? Storage System Prices?

Hello everyone,
we are planning a small 5.7 kW peak system. We are still undecided about whether to include a battery storage or not. Through our installer, we have been offered a battery with 5.12 kW capacity for just under €10,000. That seems very expensive to me. Is it usually possible to get it cheaper if added later? Including installation?
My main question is this: assuming an annual electricity generation of 5,000 kWh, minus self-consumption (depending on whether there is a battery or not), there is not much left to sell back to the grid operator. Plus, the “effort” with the tax office... Despite simplifications for smaller systems, as far as I know you still have to handle the VAT return... We would gladly do without those few euros entirely if it means we are completely “off the hook” regarding the tax office. Is that possible?
Thank you very much for your help!

Tell me about a balcony power system. Who checks or notices if I operate four or five of them at the same time? Does the grid operator really notice that immediately?

Would the road authority notice if you drive 150 km/h (93 mph) on a country road at night? ;-)

What would be the point of that (unless you still have old-style meters running backwards) – operating 5 balcony power plants each with 600Wp? 🙄
Or are you mining cryptocurrency in the sun, creating such a high "background noise"?

E - charging an electric car, for example.
The ones I saw were more around 480 watts.
Possibly charging a self-built battery storage.
But then it would have to be operated as an off-grid system, otherwise the utility provider would detect it too quickly.

They won’t notice at all. Multiple units can be operated together; there are just a few details to consider. The current limits for these balcony power systems are set so they can be used in any house or apartment. If you have proper wiring and distribute the load across different phases, it does not cause any issues.

I suspect the same. The only thing I don’t understand is the purpose of running several. One balcony solar system nicely covers the baseline consumption of the fridge and other appliances, etc. But every additional balcony solar system feeds power into the grid without compensation since they are exempt from registration.
