ᐅ How many site inspections by a building surveyor are appropriate?

What do you think is a reasonable number of site inspections by a building expert?
We are homeowners and have received an offer from TÜV Süd for 4 inspections, see images below.
Is 3 plus 1 too few?

The question is whether it has to be an expert witness. There are structural engineers who offer construction supervision services and charge based on the time spent. The costs are definitely worthwhile. I usually visit the construction sites about once a week, in addition to key events such as installing concrete stairs, precast ceilings, before screeding, and roof truss assembly.

Therefore, it’s impossible to make an informed guess about how many inspections are necessary or where specific critical points might be. Whether you place a Flair 113 on a slab foundation lot or build a Falling Water–style house on a vineyard makes a significant difference. It also matters whether your house stands alone or is a semi-detached property, and if your neighbor is building their half differently.

We are building a solid single-family house with a general contractor on a flat plot with an existing building.
