Good morning everyone,

how are you handling self-performed work on new builds after the contact restrictions in NRW?

Our roof is up next. We had planned to work with more than two people.

Is it allowed to work on my property with several friends based on hygiene measures?

I look forward to your feedback.

Best regards

You are meeting with more than one friend. In my opinion, this clearly violates the contact restrictions.

The contact ban for more than two people is already clearly stated in the wording. You’ll have to postpone DIY work or just do it alone. That way, nobody can infect you and vice versa. It will just take longer. However, this should be the least of your worries in the current situation.

In BY, only detached houses are allowed. Your property is not a lawless zone. Therefore, the answer is clearly no, although whether you comply is another matter.

In that case, the personal contribution has to wait, or you just do it on your own.
Oh, how kind of you to suddenly allow working alone on the construction site.

Don’t you realize how annoying you are? If you have nothing to contribute to the question, then please keep quiet.
To make it clear for you: NRW = contact ban, Bavaria = curfew.
Do you notice the difference? Read it out loud, then you will understand...

Do I think it’s a good idea here in NRW? No, I wouldn’t do it either.
