I’m interested in your experiences with flooring. Maybe you could share a picture as well?
What types of flooring and colors have you chosen for the different living areas?
How many different types of flooring do you have?
Has anyone had experience with resin-bound stone floors or similar and can share their thoughts?
Have a nice Sunday.

My latest project was a single-family house fully equipped with underfloor heating. A small family, a mother with two little girls. In the bathroom, guest toilet, and utility room, tiles were installed (thanks to the underfloor heating, the floors are not cold to the touch). In the hallway and kitchen, click vinyl flooring (very easy to install yourself and perfect for wiping clean, also warm underfoot); in the living room, click cork flooring (very warm underfoot but also noisier than vinyl), and please note, the heating pipes of the underfloor system needed to be spaced closer here. Both children’s bedrooms and the master bedroom feature Parador Modular One flooring (similar to click laminate).
All flooring is wood-look and color-coordinated with the overall design concept. It performs well in everyday use, even when small stones get tracked in on shoes. Anecdote: The boyfriend wanted to tile the entrance area, but the homeowner strongly refused and ultimately made the better choice.
However, it’s advisable to consider options starting from the mid-price range.
Photos will follow if the homeowner agrees.

With "click cork," there is also a wood-like surface layer similar to vinyl flooring. Is the core board actually made of cork, or where exactly is the cork located?
Originally, I planned to cover as much as possible with tiles due to underfloor heating, but the feel (hardness) of tiles is not as cozy for living spaces as, for example, vinyl flooring. The durability of good tiles is also an important factor for me. However, I’ve heard that there are also durable vinyl flooring options available?

Actually, I had planned to use mostly tiles because of the underfloor heating, but the texture (hardness) of the floor isn’t as comfortable for living spaces compared to, for example, vinyl flooring. Also, the durability of good tiles is another argument in favor. However, I’ve heard there are also very durable vinyl floors? Vinyl is definitely on par with tiles and feels nicer and quieter underfoot. Just visit some specialized stores and feel for yourself. Both types of flooring are easy to clean and scratch-resistant.
We have chosen tiles throughout our new house. In the living areas, we selected wood-look tiles that resemble hardwood flooring. Tiles are the best option for underfloor heating. Additionally, we find hardwood too delicate. We have cats, and when they race around the room, they leave scratches on the floor. I also prefer a low-maintenance solution. With tiles, I can simply use a steam cleaner. I don’t want to worry about damaging the floor when walking around with wet or dirty shoes. Laminate and vinyl are not an option because I don’t like how they look.
