On Friday, the cement screed was installed here, but the initial heating or functional heating of the underfloor heating is only planned to start in January.
We understand that we should and must ventilate during the heating phase, and also that we need to avoid drafts.
However, should we already be ventilating now, even though the functional heating has not started yet, in order to remove moisture?
According to the screed installer, we are allowed to enter the screed or the house for the first time starting tomorrow. But the ventilation aspect slipped our minds in the heat of the moment.

But do we have to/should we already ventilate now even though no functional heating has started yet to get rid of the moisture?Of course – whenever the air inside the house is more humid than outside.
In our case, it would be pointless right now since it has been raining every day for a week...
