Hello,

I ordered a garden shed online (40mm (1.6 inches) log wall thickness, 6m x 2.5m (20ft x 8ft 2in) footprint). Unfortunately, such buildings require approval in Saxony, which I have already obtained. However, I still need to provide a structural stability certificate.

Does anyone have a good tip (extensive web archive with many structural calculations of existing models, personal experience, regional or national specialists for such calculations, private contacts via PM, etc.) on how I might avoid commissioning this from the manufacturer (who wants to charge a high fee for it)? The technical data are available.

Thanks and best regards,

Do the calculations yourself (or have them done) or simply ask the manufacturer. That will probably be the only reliable way.

Alternatively, find a second person who wants the house and share the costs. Or split them into thirds or quarters, depending on how successful you are at selling.
