Hello

We have a single-family house with a granny flat. There is a central heating system (Viessmann air heat pump) and a hot water buffer tank.

A heat meter is installed at each underfloor heating manifold.

Additionally, there is a hot water meter in the granny flat.

I have tried to research online how to prepare an operating costs statement, but without success.

I would be very grateful for any tips or explanations.

I also recommend the approach suggested by BratacDD, and there should also be a cold water meter installed.

Hello, do you have an air pump? If yes, allocate 18% of this electricity consumption to hot water circulation.

Isn't there a program specifically designed for landlords?! [emoji848] I'm sure there is!

Yes, there is. You can find more details from Haus und Grund.

There is certainly software available, but for a single party, Excel is definitely sufficient. You just need to know what you are doing; without this knowledge, even ready-made software probably won't help.

Well, I can imagine that everything gets checked with all the “ifs and buts.” That’s what software is for. If you have no clue, a program will at least offer you all the options. In contrast, Excel spreadsheets are put together with your own formulas as needed. That’s not really worth it for just one rental. Where is the original poster supposed to get the data to fill the spreadsheet? If they knew that, they probably wouldn’t be asking here.
