I have a possibly silly question.
Due to furniture being moved and children playing, I noticed that the sealant on the parquet floor has "cracked."
Is this a problem, or would you recommend sealing it? Is there a repair kit available for this?
Or should I just leave it as is, although it does look a bit unattractive.

That needs to be closed. It’s not entirely straightforward, though. The torn area will have to be sanded extensively to smooth the edges. Then, spray paint is applied. After that, the overspray is removed by wet sanding with 1000 grit. This is a job for a professional painter. It’s doable and probably only about 30 minutes of work. But you have to know how. Do you know an automotive painter? Karsten

Which spray paint do you recommend?

No offense, but maybe you should call a parquet floor installer instead of a car painter/decorator. After all, repairing floors is part of their daily work.In Hesse, no parquet installer will come for just 2 scratches....
