Hello,

we are looking for decentralized ventilation units that have highly effective pollen and fine dust filters and do not draw odors from the outside into the house. Additionally, they should minimize the intake of cold air and also provide good sound insulation against outdoor noise. The units’ own operating noise should be minimal. They should also be controllable, including the option to switch them off.

Does such a device exist? Which models can meet these requirements (or which definitely cannot)?

It should be noted that we are renovating a timber-framed house. Even after renovation, it will not be as airtight as some newly built houses.

Thank you and best regards

For that, an activated carbon filter is needed. I would be surprised if that exists in decentralized systems. But I’m happy to be proven wrong! :-)

Hello Bieber0815, I read that you can buy activated carbon filters for the sevi160, for example (and I assume you can also install them 😉). But can pollen filters be installed in addition? And are there other devices that can do this (as well)?

Does anyone have experience with decentralized units from Dimplex, Halmburger, Meltem, Roos, or Zehnder?

Thanks!
