Hello,
I am not looking for the simple controllers with the adjustment wheel and the 1-5 scale, but rather ones with a digital display, preferably completely button-free as a touch version.
Can you recommend a model? So far, I have only found very inexpensive ones (around 30 euros), and I assume you cannot expect a decent product at that price.
Thank you very much.

Yes... because in my opinion, the requirement only makes sense for quickly responding systems...I agree. Can you share more about the process?
Did you provide a detailed justification in the free text field, or did you start with a brief two-line explanation and then wait to see the response from the building authority / planning permission office? How long did it take, and what were the costs?
Was it difficult to find a heating engineer willing to support this?
I used the template from Bosy—just look for "Bosy Online," and you will find it.
The heating technician from the general contractor didn’t really care (he still comes every year to service the boiler). The RTRs were simply removed and never installed. I kept using the RTRs in the "light switches" until the exemption was granted, and also to see for myself if there was any difference with or without them... now the switches only display temperatures and similar information but no longer control anything.
To be honest, I don’t remember exactly how long it took... but I disconnected the RTRs after about a year because the gas consumption was practically the same with and without them. The only difference was that with the RTRs, I had additional electricity costs and needed extra devices that are now gone.

Contrary to popular belief, you cannot override the physics of underfloor heating with the RTRs.Not really. But the RTR and the actuator are not digital, are they? So if I set a lower temperature on the RTR, the flow rate decreases, meaning the floor (on average across the surface) warms less (the temperature difference between supply and return increases). Sure, it’s slow, but a slow control is still a control.
