Hello!

Where did you buy your fireplace, and were you satisfied?

We are looking for a fireplace, NOT a wood-burning stove. However, I only found two companies: Hark and Kago. Kago has developed quite a bad reputation.

Otherwise, there are fireplace studios that offer custom fireplaces designed by architects, but that will likely be too expensive for us.

Most other fireplace manufacturers only offer wood-burning stoves.

We also don’t want to simply order online because we want the fireplace to be installed by the company as well.

So, do you have any tips for us?

Thank you,
Kirsche27 🙂

Hi,

my mother had her fireplace installed by a studio where she received consultation. The salesperson also visited her and inspected everything on site.
I just can’t tell you which company it is!

Best regards, Udo

Hello,

Of course, studios are expensive, but I believe that if you are already spending money on a fireplace, it should be something special.

You can get standard models anywhere!!

I actually like the run-of-the-mill ones. 😀

Hi,

I often find brochures about fireplaces in my mailbox. I’m sure there is a fireplace installer near you where you can see examples.
I generally think it’s better to choose local craftsmen because they have a reputation to uphold.

Hello!

Well then, we're about to start a chimney builder marathon. We will check out Hark, Kago, and two smaller studios/chimney builders to compare.

Have a great weekend,

Kirsche.
