Kirsche274 Feb 2009 14:21Hello!
Where did you buy your fireplace, and were you satisfied?
We are looking for a fireplace, NOT a wood-burning stove. However, I only found two companies: Hark and Kago. Kago has developed quite a bad reputation.
Otherwise, there are fireplace studios that offer custom fireplaces designed by architects, but that will likely be too expensive for us.
Most other fireplace manufacturers only offer wood-burning stoves.
We also don’t want to simply order online because we want the fireplace to be installed by the company as well.
So, do you have any tips for us?
Thank you,
Kirsche27 🙂

Hello,
of course, studios are expensive, but I think if you're going to spend money on a fireplace, it should be something special.
You can get run-of-the-mill ones anywhere!!
Best regards, BorisI actually like the run-of-the-mill ones. 😀

Kirsche276 Feb 2009 13:44Hello!
Well then, we're about to start a chimney builder marathon. We will check out Hark, Kago, and two smaller studios/chimney builders to compare.
Have a great weekend,
Kirsche.
