ᐅ Fruit trees

Hello!
How do you protect your fruit trees from the sun and frost during the winter?

Is that really necessary? They are designed for outdoor use after all 🙂

I have heard that tree bark suffers a lot during winter. Frost at night and the sun during the day can damage the bark.

I would simply knit a sweater for the tree... there are great patterns available online. Unfortunately, I’m not allowed to share images, right? Best regards, Steffi33.

I don’t do anything else except attach glue traps to apple trees to prevent birds from nesting at the top.
