As the year is coming to an end, hopefully most projects for 2019 are completed. What are your plans for 2020? Any major projects in the garden or upgrades inside the house? What will you be working on next year?
We want to finally finish and move in by January/February, so gardening and the terrace will be on the agenda for next year.
My personal passion project is the hot tub. I just haven't decided yet whether to buy one or build it myself. I definitely don’t want one of those plastic ones...
A concrete one would be amazing:

Don’t bother with the concrete. It only causes problems in the long run. There’s a reason why pools are rarely made from concrete anymore.
Unless you add a liner, but then it looks quite unattractive.
Our project for 2020 is still building the house. We had the first snow last week. Let’s see how much longer the workers can keep going…

Garden. We still have a few hundred square meters (a few thousand square feet) left.
The plan is
1. Rejuvenation of an old apple tree
2. Propagation by grafting
3. Variety identification by pomologists
4. Fence on retaining wall
5. Raised bed
6. Remaining work from 2019
7. Next garden section with fruit trees and hedges

unless a vapor barrier is installed. But then it doesn’t look very good.

Maybe I’ll build a wooden hot tub like that too. Although I think in the end it will be one of those inflatable ones^^

Best regards,
