Hello home builders and experts (building professional – hidden compliment)
This is probably not quite finished yet, only about 95% of the ground floor of our semi-detached house.
The entrance faces the street, visible between the cloakroom and the guest toilet.
The space under the stairs is planned to be used in the utility room, for example for a washing machine.
The fireplace is just an idea. Most likely, it will be without a fireplace for cost reasons. The house dimensions are about 7.5-8 m (24.5-26.2 ft) by 10.5-11 m (34.4-36.1 ft).
Here on the ground floor, it’s mostly about the layout. Your ideas are welcome, including things we haven’t thought of yet.
I would appreciate your feedback. Thank you.

I have an 8x10 meter (26x33 feet) semi-detached house. There’s already plenty of space in the entrance area. The shower easily fits in the guest bathroom. The hallway is wide enough to handle two-way traffic.
How many people are you/want to be? If no children are expected, put the utilities/technical room on the upper floor. If you have kids, better to have a basement or put the utilities in an extension behind or inside the garage.
Instead of a tiny pantry, better to have one more kitchen cabinet and save a wall. We integrated the wardrobe into the staircase area.
@ypg: 10.7 meters (35 feet) 🙂 The party wall has no external insulation.

Get inspired by standard floor plans for semi-detached houses and terraced houses, as mentioned above: technical rooms on the upper floor or attic, or fully at the front, smaller hallways, narrower staircases, smaller rooms! You will be building a semi-detached house, not a detached house – that's just how it is 😉
