Hello everyone,
We are currently considering the lighting for the worktop. Since we have only one upper cabinet, we plan to use the URail track system from Paulmann.
Maybe some of you have experience with this system.
If so, I would appreciate it if you could answer the following questions:
- Which spotlights do you use?
- Does the lighting sufficiently illuminate the worktop?
We planned to position the track 30cm (12 inches) from the front edge of the worktop. Is that correct?
If possible, could you also share some pictures so I can see how you have set it up?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Birgit

I checked it out. It looks very stylish! We also installed the Eutrac 3-phase system. It is very high quality with excellent workmanship and has the crucial advantage of being an open system, meaning that accessories and light bulbs from other manufacturers are compatible! This results in a very wide range of options on the market and you’re not dependent on a single manufacturer. For that reason alone, I wouldn’t choose a system that doesn’t offer flexibility!

Which track lighting system is generally recommended? Which one is the most flexible? There are differences in material, price, and sometimes quality. Additionally, the available system components or fixtures vary. So, you can’t really generalize.
I’ve used several systems before, for example from Oligo, some with magnetic fixtures, which were really great. At the moment, we have a system from Paulmann installed, which is also fine but significantly cheaper.
You can probably use any track lighting system since they can all be cut or adjusted. Just make a plan and put together what you like, then check the prices. Besides Oligo, you might also want to look at Erco or Staff, now Zumtobel.

Thanks! Are you familiar with deko-light?No, it looks quite good, and if you like it and it fits your needs, I would go with it there as well. Basically, it’s the same everywhere, only the material, design, selection, and price vary.pagoni2020 schrieb:
