Hello everyone,

I have already read a lot here and asked a few questions, receiving quick and helpful answers 🙂.

Now I’m reaching out to you again: Since we are doing quite a bit of the work ourselves (an electrician in the family, painting, insulation boards for the underfloor heating, etc.), some basic knowledge is missing.

The interior plastering is finished, and the insulation boards for the underfloor heating will be installed soon.
What I’m wondering is: Which tasks absolutely have to be completed before the screed is poured, and what would be “nice to have” done beforehand?

A “must-have” before installing the screed:
* Utility connections (through the floor slab penetrations)
* Fire protection door in the basement
* Markings for the stair supports

“Nice to have” before the screed (those with “?”: Is it useful to do these before the screed?)
* Front door (?)
* Painting (?)

Is there anything else that really should be done first?

Best regards,
André
