Hello,

Could someone please take a look at this? Our heating system (Wolf CGB 2-14) is short-cycling constantly and consuming an extremely high amount of gas.

House details:
Older building from 1972
Double-glazed windows about 15 years old
Relatively poor insulation
160 m2 (1,722 ft2) living area
Unheated basement

Brief background:
I changed several settings in the professional mode but was still unsatisfied. I reset the parameters, and since then the circulation pump stopped working.
Then, under "HG40 system configuration," I briefly set it to "K12_Diverter/PWT + heating circuit." This made the pump start again. I then immediately changed it back to "K01_Heating circuit." I returned to the main menu, and the heating system rebooted. Since then, it runs again but short-cycles endlessly. In addition, several new settings appeared, e.g., "HG14 function A1 or A17, A18."

Currently, the gas consumption is about 500 liters (also nearly 500 dollars/euros) per month (possibly a gas leak in the underground supply line?), only heating the ground floor (room temperature 20°C (68°F), 90 m2 (970 ft2)). The thermostats on the upper floor (room temperature 10°C (50°F), 70 m2 (753 ft2)) are set to 1 because that area is still under renovation.

There is only one hot water heating cycle per day (40°C (104°F)). (Once the gas consumption issue is resolved, we plan to activate the legionella prevention mode.)
