We recently got a German Shepherd and want to create a better separation from the neighbors.
So far, the properties have been separated by a hedge over 2 m (6.5 ft) high. Unfortunately, our dog has already managed to slip under the hedge several times, so now we want to install a 1.2 m (4 ft) fence in front of the hedge.
Our question is whether to choose a chain-link fence or a fixed panel fence.
My wife thinks that with the chain-link fence, the dog might be able to pull the mesh apart.
What do you think, or even better, can someone share practical experience?
