ᐅ Winkhaus hardware – release locking elements before installation

I recently purchased some new hardware for a Winkhaus window to replace some older parts. It seems that in the original delivery condition, these components include certain elements that block the moving parts of the locking mechanism – presumably to ensure they stay in the correct position for installation during transport. However, I am not entirely sure how to best remove these elements (and whether my assumption about their function as blocking parts is correct, although I tend to think so).
Attached are some photos of the parts restricting movement, along with a request for guidance on how to properly remove or adjust these elements.
