Hello,
I’m Thomas and quite new to this forum.
Our overall plan is mostly set, and right now I am selecting the windows. A carpenter friend recommended Reinü-FEFA windows to me. The company he works for offers and installs these. Perhaps someone here has experience with them or could take a look at the "Komfort" version and give an evaluation.
google -> Reinü FEFA uPVC windows -> scroll down and open the brochure

I believe links are not allowed 🙂

The profile is apparently Salamander, fittings etc. are described in the brochure.

Thanks in advance
Thomas

Hello Thomas,
I’m not familiar with the manufacturer. I looked at their website and the brochure. Based on the information available, everything seems fine. You can’t go wrong with the profile and fittings. Are you planning for white windows or colored ones?
I still recommend taking a closer look at the manufacturer. If they are not too far from you, schedule a visit and check them out in person. Are there any other reviews or testimonials? Who will be installing the windows? Your own team, or subcontractors?
If all of that is satisfactory, there’s no reason not to proceed.
Best regards, redtatoo

Good morning redtatoo,

Thank you very much for your feedback.
So:
- We want the windows in anthracite – is this a crucial factor for you, or are you just curious?
- A friend of ours, a trained carpenter who I believe is both an expert and a meticulous craftsman, recommended these to us. His company mainly installs them. Good price-performance ratio, easy to fit because they are well-made, and so on. Sounds promising, but of course, it’s always good to get at least a second or third opinion 🙂
- I haven’t found any user reviews online so far.
- Installation will be done by this carpenter. I can probably get the windows "cheap" through his employer (which still needs to be checked), and he’ll install them privately for me (I am aware of the warranty issue).
My father is a self-employed interior finisher and does everything from screed to drywall to tiling, etc. I’m not a tradesperson myself, but over the years, I’ve learned who is a good worker and expert and who is not.
Just wanted to mention that 🙂

Best regards, Thomas

Hello Thomas,
You are right, you can get a good impression of skilled craftsmen. If that’s the case, great – I’m happy for you.
I asked about the color because Salamander white is special. Many people like its bright white and smooth surface compared to other profiles. That’s what Salamander is known for. I personally like it a lot as well. The question had no other background.
