Hello dear forum members,
We are building a solid masonry house using perforated bricks according to the energy saving regulations and will have uPVC windows installed.
The "leading building center in our region" offers both Bayerwald windows and Wirus windows.
The following window profiles seem to fit our needs best:
Bayerwald windows: Tresorband BW80
Wirus windows: Profile system MD92 Elegant
1. Are you familiar with these windows or profile systems, and do you perhaps have any experience with them?
2. In your hopefully expert opinion, what is the realistic lifespan of uPVC windows?
Internorm KF410 and ReinüFefa are also options we are considering, but this discussion should not focus on those.
Please excuse any generalizations or incorrect terminology, as I am certainly not an expert.
Thank you very much for your feedback.
