What exactly is “too small” there? After plastering? The raw construction? Dimensions in drawings usually refer to the raw construction as well, how is it with you? And 6 cm (2.4 inches) on what? On windows that are one meter (3.3 feet) or two meters (6.6 feet) wide?

Yes, we inquired as soon as we noticed it. However, the answer does not make sense.
Yesterday, I reviewed an old chat history. Now the discrepancy becomes clear. It seems that the window height was taken not from the building permit / planning permission, but from older plans.

Once again, I am shocked by this issue. As a non-professional homeowner, do I really have to crawl into every corner of the construction site every day and measure everything down to the centimeter (half an inch)? I just don’t understand this entire industry. I consider it standard practice to do one’s job well, precisely, and without errors (with only a few exceptions), but in the construction sector, it seems to be the opposite. Our prefabricated house build will be supervised by an independent expert, but by now, I feel that one is not enough. Maybe adding inspections by TÜV or DEKRA as well. Having to measure every single window as the homeowner seems quite absurd to me.
