Hello everyone,

I want to order granite sills. I have a brick facade with beige ceramic bricks.

Question about the drip groove on both sides, there will be a drip edge:

Is it practical or not?

The disadvantage I have understood so far:
aesthetic

The stonemason will do it for me free of charge.

Thanks

The drip edge is obviously practical, which is why it exists. Otherwise, water could potentially run underneath.

The stonemason said that the drip nose is actually sufficient. So, was he wrong?

Ah, that’s just one of those philosophical things. One person prefers red cars, another prefers blue. Maybe the stonemason has two samples and can demonstrate them?

Is it, so to speak, double security?

The drip edge allows water to drain from the entire surface, while drip noses only do so on the side edges. I generally install both. But just like with cars...
