Hello everyone,
According to our building contract, the exterior window sills will be made of aluminum. For an additional cost, it is also possible to get granite window sills. I have always been against aluminum window sills because I am worried that you will constantly hear the rain hitting the aluminum.
What have your experiences been, or what did you install?

Ours look almost identical. We have Nero Impala.
They match perfectly with the RAL 7016 windows.

We had aluminum and replaced it with granite 5 years ago.
The aluminum caused our external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) to tear due to expansion after about 15 years, allowing rainwater to get behind the plaster and causing it to swell. The plasterer then recommended granite to us.

The type is Nero India, flamed finish with drip edge.Hello again... I’m bringing this thread back... ^^ We currently have aluminum window sills in color 7016 installed.
My wife and I prefer granite. You only build once, so it should be done properly.
To be honest, we never really gave much thought to the choice of window sills before.
We really like this type of stone!
Do you or anyone else have tips on where we might get the window sills a bit cheaper? ^^
Feel free to send a private message.

This “principle” applied when reaching an eightieth birthday was rare and only widowed or abandoned people remarried a second time.https://www.instagram.com/11antgmxde/
