Good morning everyone,
First of all, I wish @Allen a healthy and successful year 23.
Now to my problem:
I have a tilt-and-turn window/door unit from Brömse in the bedroom.
When there are strong, unfavorable wind conditions, it makes a strange rattling/humming noise. This comes from the upper part of the door, apparently exactly where the sealing lip is missing. That area is the ventilation in the window frame. When the wind hits the corner and whistles through, it causes an irregular rattling sound.
At first, I suspected the membrane under the roof tiles, but that is not the case.
What can I do about it? Should I glue in a piece of sealing lip there or tape the gap above the door? I know this would interfere with the ventilation process, but the rattling/humming noise wakes me up at night.

The REGEL-Air window rebate ventilators nowadays have small return springs that prevent the flaps from fluttering.
Is something like that missing in your system? Or is it perhaps missing only on one of the ventilators?
By the way, the absence of a seal at one point on the window is normal for window rebate ventilators.

Why did you have the window rebate vents installed? This was standardly planned by the house builder. The manufacturer also installed them that way, or they were already integrated into the window/door sashes.
