ᐅ Window frames: white or anthracite?

Hello, we are deciding between white or anthracite for the window color. The exterior is anthracite, but what about the interior? Who else was unsure and how did you decide? Would you choose the same again now? Good luck. Moni1969

The choice of probably 99% of people is clear. A strong anthracite color stands out immediately on any wall. You either like it—or, like most home builders, you don’t.

Aside from that, anthracite looks quite dull on the exterior ;-)

We chose anthracite on the outside and white on the inside.
Inside, the contrast with white walls and ceilings would have been too strong for us. Only the darker floor is meant to provide the desired contrast here.

It’s no more boring than white or colored. It’s the right facade or facade color that really makes the difference.
But of course, it’s a matter of personal taste, says the monkey and bites... just kidding...

We have a fairly light floor, the walls are very light gray, and the kitchen is anthracite.

In this particular case, the gray window frames on the inside could work quite well. But of course, you'll have to decide for yourselves.

However, you should carefully check the exact colors of both to make sure they don’t clash. Even different levels of gloss can make a big difference. I would always compare sample pieces. While not always 100% conclusive, it’s a good reference point.
