ᐅ Window layout with two-thirds fixed glazing and one-third operable sections

When I look at windows that I like, they don’t have a centered opening but rather a 1/3 to 2/3 ratio. I’ve seen this ratio both in windows with sill heights and in narrow windows (e.g., bathrooms). Does anyone have this? Is my estimated ratio correct? Since I would like to offset the frame from the sash to make the window divisions narrower, I would fix the glass on one side and use the other side to open – does that work? Any experience?

Is my estimated ratio correct? The so-called "golden ratio" is timelessly popular and approximately 61.8% to 38.2% division.

For example, in our utility room, where we also hang laundry, the smaller part is fixed and the larger part is an opening sash.
This way, the humid air can escape much faster, and even when tilted, the volume for dehumidifying is larger.
