Woogl@kbt09: Yes, the site plan is oriented with north at the top.
We had already reached the same point as YPG. But we just couldn’t figure out how to properly place the TV. If you put the couch facing south, the distance to the opposite wall becomes too large. And in the extension itself, there is not enough space (the distance from couch to TV should be about 3.50m (11.5 feet), right?)
We didn’t really want to enlarge the extension either, because that would mean losing part of the terrace.
Tricky, tricky 🙁

The 2200 figure represents the average construction costs that our project manager has encountered in his work over the past few years in our region. For your estimation, this only helps as much as your project is close to the average scope of work included in his construction specifications. The unilateral advantage is not that significant, but there is a lot of potential for price variations in the kitchen, bathroom, and electrical work between builder X and Y.

At the moment, I don’t have many new ideas. Yvonne’s approach is okay, although the tall cabinets seem a bit far away to me. But that could be misleading. In general, I’m always a fan of having the kitchen next to the terrace.
@Woogl .. is it not possible to have fully dimensioned plans (ground floor/upper floor)? Regarding the TV .. that depends on the TV size. The recommended viewing distances have changed quite a bit, and 350 cm (11.5 feet) is usually more than enough for a TV up to about 42 inches.

Quick thought:

But I’m curious to see what Kerstin comes up with. There’s definitely more potential than just this quick idea 🙂 Hello YPG... quickly put together last night. Is this what you had in mind? The guest room and utility room have been enlarged. The new living room measures about 5 meters (16 feet) up to the TV now. I’m still very undecided about the kitchen...However, I have no idea how to fit the small Swedish stove with the chimney here (round symbol on the plan). If the chimney goes straight up, it would come out directly into the children’s bedroom above...
Hi,
Think carefully about whether you really want to block the windows with furniture. From my point of view, it’s a kind of waste of money or, to put it differently, a planning mistake. Of course, the dining table seems to have nowhere else to go. But what about the sofa? Are the windows there floor-to-ceiling? Just make the wall where the sofa is and install a nice panoramic window on the right side.
