Hello,
Now that the question of wallpaper or not has been answered, I would like to ask about wall paint recommendations.
At the hardware store, there is a brand called Alpina; it’s called Renovierweiss and costs 25 euros for a 10l (2.6 gallons) bucket.
Is it suitable to buy this, or should something higher quality be used, such as Brillux, for the walls?
Regards, Markus

...Just for fun, I looked up the prices since I painted my first apartment with Brillux. Back then, I paid nearly a triple-digit price in Deutsche Marks for a larger quantity... 🙄 I would choose Brillux again anytime because, from my professional experience, I roughly know how—and with what—they mix their paints 🙂

I have nothing negative to say about it, but I don’t have any comparison to other paints. For plastered walls, I used Biosil, and for painting fleece, I used Innostar, which performs even better with grazing light. I bought everything online because it was significantly cheaper there.
