Hello everyone, I am planning to assemble an IKEA Brimnes bed soon and would like to make sure I have all the necessary tools ready beforehand. I'm not only interested in the standard tools that IKEA usually provides but also in any additional tools that might make the assembly easier or result in a more stable build. Which tools are recommended to have on hand for assembling the IKEA Brimnes? I would really appreciate any experience-based advice or tips—especially on which tools have proven useful and which ones can be skipped.

- The included Allen key. It is functional but often a bit short and slippery, which can be annoying in tight spaces. Therefore,
- A hex key set or a good bit-driven cordless screwdriver with adjustable torque settings. This allows you to tighten the screws evenly and reduces the risk of damaging the components.
- Rubber mallet: Often, wall plugs need to be gently tapped in, and a metal hammer can cause damage here.
- Phillips screwdriver (PH2): For the back panels or small supplied screws.
- A spirit level is also always useful, especially if the floor is uneven.
This way, you are prepared for all eventualities, and the assembly won’t be unnecessarily stressful. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
